The Los Angeles World Affairs Council & Town Hall is pleased to host Laszlo Gyorgy, Minister of State for Economic Strategy and Regulation of Hungary, who will discuss how Hungary has recovered from nearly four decades of economic and political imbalance, and what alternative economic policies can be applied globally by adhering to five fundamental values: security, freedom, order, justice and welfare. He will share some of the triumphs and failures he’s seen take place in Hungary as they have come out from under Communism, and what lessons the country has learned that can be applied in other global economies.
